In an era where we are all connected in a way or another, when even children have mobile phones and know how to use them better than the parents a huge debate is still trending on the social media… #AppleVsFBI .
President of the United States Obama, said this morning in an interview that ““My conclusion so far is that you cannot take an absolutist view on this, so if your argument is strong encryption, no matter what, and we can and should, in fact, create black boxes, then that I think does not strike the kind of balance that we have lived with for 200, 300 years. And it’s fetishizing our phones above every other value. And that can’t be the right answer,” – See more at: http://indianexpress.com/article/technology/tech-news-technology/apple-vs-fbi-obama-encryption-debate/#sthash.PZTOe3No.dpuf
If you think about it most of the times, the location is turned on,on your phone, in order to use maps or even some apps, not to mention that you can share it on Facebook , text message or email.
Most of our activity is already shared on social media…what we’re doing, eating, where we’re going and with whom. We have detailed profiles on platforms such as Linkedin where people can see what your occupation is or was 5 years ago.
Google maps can show you where you’ve been in the past year with a detailed trail of streets, cities and countries.
You have all your preferences on Pinterest and you even save your bank details online when purchasing products…
I say we should stop and wonder if we do have privacy at all…All of our personal information and lives are out there, in code and folders…some of us just don’t realise it.
is this just a way to take our mind from something else even bigger?
