Spark – most exciting drone of the year?!

If you’ve been living under a rock you probably haven’t heard of the new DJI release – Spark.

Don’t except it to be more powerful than what DJI already has in store, but this is definitely one that got everyone excited and for the right reasons.

First of all is really TINY! So tiny that it can compete to your shiny iPhone 7plus, measuring only 143 x 143 x 55 mm and it weights only 300g.

It can only fly for about 16 minutes on a full battery charge and comes with a 12 megapixel camera, incorporating a 1/2.3 inch sensor and a wide f 2.6 lens.

I know what you are all thinking, that does not sound as exciting, especially if you’re in the market for a professional drone, but Spark was not designed to fulfil that role, as it only films in full HD at the moment and only has a 2 axis  mechanical stabilisation gimbal.

Why everyone is raving about is because is so tiny and you can control it without using a remote. Yeah, you read that right, it can be controlled with hand gestures. It also comes with 4 intelligent flight modes, as well as being able to trace and follow a selected subject from a fixed perspective.

Have i mentioned that is also available in multiple colours such as green, red, blue, yellow and white?

Don’t worry if you haven’t used a drone before because this will be the easiest thing to do ever, and can’t wait to get my hands on one.

At the moment they retail at about £519 for the standard pack or you can choose the fly more combo for just £699.

I can see a new drone in the series with more power in terms of speed and video quality, but kudos to DJI for realising something that can be used by anyone just to give them a taste of the drone fever.

I’ll let you guys have a look at the promotional video from DJI.

Beats new wireless ear-pods available today

After an announcement a week ago, Beats has finally made their new wireless ear-pods available for sale today.

They claim to offer 8 hour charge and by the look of them they seem more convenient and easier to use than the Apple’s version.

You will be able to find them under the name “Beats X” and they come with a price tag of $149.95,  which compared to the AirPods that can be found at approximately $230, makes them a bit cheaper.

Beats X are available in 4 colours at the moment: Black, Grey, White and Blue, and they can provide 2 hour playback only with 5 minute charge.

Design wise they are safer to be used outside or even on a daily basis because they still come with a cable that you can put around your neck, compared to the apple version that seem impractical to use when jogging for example.

The back of the pods is also magnetic providing even more safety when you’re not using them, being able to stick them to one another while having them around your neck.

Specification wise they both use Bluetooth and Wifi, have a built in microphone, come with a volume control, inline calls and music controls as well as a noise isolation feature.

Reading through the reviews some people complained about the microphone that apparently catches even the sound of your footsteps and the fact that they are not sweat-proof as other beats version. Some people even mentioned that the base quality is not very good compared to other headphones from the same company. but then again what do they expect from some small in-ear pods?

Would you guys consider purchasing this new wireless pods? Do they seem worth the price?

Amazon Chime-Easier,Better,Faster

Amazon is slowly taking over the market for businesses that are using products to help them communicate better and faster no matter where their employees are located.

Their new product called Chime is similar to any software that can provide you audio and video calls as well as screen sharing. It offers options such as online meetings, video conferences, chat and chat rooms as well as an easier way to share your files with others no matter what device you’re using.

Compared to other similar products Chime is also aiming to offer secure connections that will encrypt any content and make it accessible only to authenticated users.

Chime also offers improved options for a better conference call having an improved audio quality and giving users the option to mute background noise.

Being a very versatile product it can be installed on any operating system both on a computer or a phone or tablet, and it comes with a synchronised system that will allow users to switch from a device to another without having to deal with that annoying delay that you get from other similar apps.

You can watch their promotional video here:
