Women in Focus

This is a special section where i will be introducing a female figure that has done or is currently doing remarkable things in an industry that is seen as being dominated by men.

According to a range of studies, there is still quite a big gender gap when it comes to tech related positions., with men taking the higher percentage.

Just 18% of Computer Science bachelors at major universities in 2016 were women.

In 2018, only 20% of all jobs in technology were held by women.

This is the reason why I want to celebrate these women and their achievements and bring them to my readers.
