With the new macbook products i hear people everyday saying how annoyed they are about the fact that they don’t have enough ports for all their USB devices and memory cards.
If you’re a photographer or videographer you might need more than 2 USB ports. and with cameras connecting still with micro USB cables you might need some help getting your camera updated to the latest firmware versions.
I tried the QacQoc type-c hub and card reader adapter and i must say it’s a game changer.
This device comes with the following ports:
- 3 USB 3.0
- SD card reader
- MicroSd card reader
- Hdmi port
- Lan port
- 1 Usb-c
In order to use it you don’t need any drivers, you just plug it and start using it. The fact that gives you so many extra ports for USB devices is great, especially for someone like me that needs to have my 2 external hard drives connected and my graphic tablet.
Downloading files and connecting new devices to your laptop with this device is working straight away, since there’s no delay from plugging a new cable in the hub and it coming up on your computer.
I will say that using all the ports at the same time, will make the device go a bit warm, and can’t say yet if this might be a problem in the future for constant use or not, but i hope the company will address this issue.
The product comes in a nice package and includes a soft case to keep it safe while not using it. Also you have 4 colours to choose from: rose-gold, silver, white and gold so it will match your laptop.
You can order them straight from the company website or from their amazon page and they are selling now at £75.99 and compared to other hubs that are out there, it’s worth every money because you get so much more in just one single device.
What do you guys think? Would you try it? Do you find it useful? Leave a comment below!
